Carol Cardoso
Trendforecaster and Futurist, specialist in regenerative economy and sustainable design, futurist researcher focusing on architecture, design, retail and cities. Speaker in Brazil and Italy, where she currently resides. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from ESPM, an MBA in Strategic and Economic Business Management from FGV, and certifications as a Trend Forecaster from IED and a Futures Researcher from the Institute for the Future. Certified specialist in Sustainability Design from Gaia Education and Regenerative Economy from the Schumacher School in England.Currently, her research delves into the future of cities, urban planning, and sustainable architecture and design. She is the co-founder of the Climate Designers Milan chapter and co-produce and create an event during the Milan Design Week that explores the Planetary Well-Being as the center of design. With over 20 years of experience in multinationals like Luxottica and Hewlett-Packard, she has led teams across 17 countries, managing renowned brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, Chanel, Sunglass Hut, and LensCrafters. Today, she works as a researcher, consultant, and speaker, helping brands and companies embrace innovation and sustainability for a more regenerative future.

Italo-Brazilian Designer and Trend Analyst, based in Milan, where she founded Studio Fah Maioli in 2008, she now boasts over 25 years of experience in researching and analyzing Meta-trends that shape the world of Lifestyle and Consumption.
Through Coolhunting and Trend Forecasting, she shares invaluable insights with global companies and creative professionals. As a TEDx speaker and author, she has written the first Coolhunting manual in Portuguese, along with dozens of published books and ebooks, and has contributed to several Brazilian Architecture annuals.
Her expertise and innovative approach have made her a respected figure in the fields of design, trend analysis, and creative forecasting.
